We worship at the altar of tiki tradition, but we aren't bound by it. We believe in spirits. And Donn. And Vic. Endless Bummer takes the drinks that made tiki famous and runs them through a darker lens: a cave with good music, fresh ingredients, and a full bar.

You don't need to know anything about rum to have a good time here. Come by with friends. Bring someone you like. See where the night goes.

What's in the glass

Everything is squeezed, mixed, and blended in-house: citrus, tinctures, syrups. The menu changes with the seasons, but the core list looks like this:

• Cobra's Fang ($16): overproof, Jamaican, and 151 rums, grenadine, passion fruit, lime, orange, falernum, absinthe, Angostura.
• Painkiller ($13): dark and overproof rum, coconut cream, pineapple, orange.
• Saturn ($13): gin, passion fruit, orgeat, falernum, lemon.
• Missionary's Downfall ($13): white rum, peach brandy, lime, honey, pineapple, mint.
• Pistachio Mai Tai ($16): our house mai tai, finished with fire.
• Black Sun Volcano ($32, serves 3–4): four rums, pineapple, passionfruit, lime, activated charcoal, cinnamon, fire.

We'd rather you decide. But Houston Press named Endless Bummer Best Speakeasy in its Best of Houston 2025. The Houston Chronicle put us on its 2025 list of the best cocktail bars in Houston. Secret Houston named us one of its favorite openings of 2025.

Getting here

We're at 4500 Montrose Blvd, Suite B, in Montrose. Walk into Betelgeuse Betelgeuse, head down the sci-fi hallway, and keep going. There's a free lot behind the building.

We don't serve food, but Betelgeuse's cast iron pizza is right next door, before or after. Planning a night around the neighborhood? Start with Montrose nights out.
